My Miata has 205s, the TA has 275s. I want a CP car soooo bad, they’re dumb, but so freaking cool.

Ooh those look like fun. Black Cobra doesn’t seem to need that tall hood, though. Does it help with aero or something?

that would be the foxbody, with the unpopular, older style front end....... its like when the novas got awkward looking in the front, and changed shape in the mid 70s. not the cool looking years, but the “wrong year” still have all the same bits, just dont look as good.......

Interesting. That blue ‘69 is using wide 5 hubs. Those are fairly popular in certain oval race classes but quite rare in any other purposes. Those wheels look larger than 15" that seems to be largest diameter that you can easily find wide 5 wheels.

Do you happen have more pictures of those wheels/hubs? I have been planning to use similar in one of my projects.

E d i t : I t h i n k t w o o f t h e o t h e r o n e s h a v e s i m i l ar hubs too.

Number 49 is a regular in the KC region and has earned the nickname “Cujo” . I got a ride in it once and it was every bit as hilarious and brutal as one could hope for.

I actually prefer the quad square headlight Foxes too. Not a notchback fan but it looks good with that function>form stance.

Probably helps with heat extraction more than anything.

I noticed those hubs right away and actually stood and talked with the guy for about 10 minutes.

I know that ‘ R and S Racing’ sells 16” Wide 5 wheels made by ‘Real Racing Wheels” all the way from 16x4 to 16x19 .

i like a good 85 or 86 nose on those mustangs, and have a real warm place in my heart for the flat front end of those mercury capri......
